Serpentine in Silver

This necklace looks very heavy due to the large silver beads and medallion. The beads, however, are lightweight wood that I spray painted silver. The medallion is aluminum with an onyz cabachon. So you will find that it is light and comfortable to wear.

Description
The serpent is a symbol that has been used thru the ages in spiritual healing . It is thought to have energy that creates a protective shield around the body. This medallion was found at an antique flea market and appears to have been a pin originally. The serpent image has been stamped in. I polished it and painted some wooden beads with silver paint to create this piece. It was dificult to photograph without reflecting the image of the camera so I took several shots from different angles to hopefully allow you to see it’s design. Earrings included.
