DESCRIPTION:This free event will feature local and out-of-town artists\, live music\, demonstrations\, food trucks and activities for all ages. \nThe Armory Art Center is on the south end of Howard Park within walking distance of the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts\, the Palm Beach Convention Center\, Hilton West Palm Beach\, and the premier shopping/dining/entertainment destination CityPlace. \nArtists will be available to discuss their art at live demos and activities will be available for the kids.

SUMMARY:KUMC Art Festival for missions
DESCRIPTION:The KUMC Art Festival for missions is a one day event featuring approximately 80 painters\, photographers\, sculptors\, metalworkers\, glass artisits\, jewelers\, crafters and more. This festival provides a fun  day outdoors live with music\, a car show\, childrens activites\, local food vendors\, a silent auction and more. \nThe venue is on the grounds of the Methodist Church located in the Village of Pinecrest in Miami. It is a beautiful area\, close to Dadeland Mall and surrounded by beautiful homes and upscale shopping . \nThis festival will provide your family with a day filled with great food\, entertainment\, shopping and other activites all-the-while supporting a cause. All proceeds will go toward benefitting local and global missions which focus on food \, housing and emotional support for those in need. \nI’m looking forward to this show as the promoters insist on only handmade…no manufactured products. This will eliminate the items you see everyday and will feature more creative products.  My jewelry is all made from re-cycled and re-purposed materials…most of which you would never imagine could become jewelry one day! Stop by my booth and ask to see the jewelry made out of the layers of paint that accummulated on the walls of the Ford Production Plant…unless I point it out you will have no idea! Other materials include scrap rubber\, CD’s\, billiard balls and more. \nI look forward to seeing you at the Festival !

SUMMARY:Dania After Dark
DESCRIPTION:This FREE STREET FESTIVAL should be written in on your calendar at home! Held monthly on the second Saturday of each month\, September 8th will be the fourth Dania After Dark and it already has become immensely successful. It takes place outdoors between 1st Street and Dania Beach Blvd where the  ocean breeze and live music come together for an evening of relaxation and fun. \nEach festival features live music from local bands and musicians with a variety of musical styles. The bands perform on stage in front of a grassy area with tables and chairs or plenty of room to lay out a blanket. \nMerchant pop-up shops line the street\, where guests can choose to shop with local makers\, artisans\, designers and brands. My booth highlights my one-of-a-kind jewelry made from re-purposed or re-cycled materials. You have to look twice to notice the bowling balls\, billiard balls\, CD’s\, vinyl albums and other things I have cut and polished into jewelry design. Hope to see you at my booth! Other vendors display sculptures\, handmade soaps and candles and a miriad of other crafts. \nInspired by Dania’s retro charm\, vintage dealers will also be highlighted for guests who want to shop vintage clothing & accessories\, retro bric-a-brac\, home goods\, jewelry and other treasures. \nIn addition to shopping and music\, you can enjoy dining al fresco with food trucks\, food stands\, all the while sipping  your favorite cocktail at the bar. \nHOPE TO SEE YOU THERE ! \n

SUMMARY:Great American Beach Party
DESCRIPTION:Get ready to kick off the summer with a Ft. Lauderdale beach celebration full of activites and entertainment. Admission is free and there are shuttles from parking areas as well as a water shuttle and a sun trolley. The event stretches along A1A from  the Elbo Room (A1A & Las Olas Blvd.)north\, past the Ritz Carlton hotel. \nOne of my favorite events is the sand sculptor John May and there is an opportunity for you to try to outdo him with your own. \nOn the beach at Poinsettia Street you’ll find the Family Fun Zone with activities for the kids…dancing\, face painting\, baloon toss\, slides\, bouncehouses and more. \nThere will be more than 20 booths of local artists and plenty of food and beverage locations thru out. \nThere will be honor celebrations for our military men and women as well as individuals that have made significant contributions to the Ft. Lauderdale community. \nI look forward to sharing my jewelry which is made from recycled materials. I use scrap metal\, billiard balls\, bowling balls\, circuit boards\, old keyes\, feathers\, scrap leather\, hunks of paint which was scraped off the wall of the Ford automotive plant (they call it Fordite) and lots of other “trash”.
