This FREE STREET FESTIVAL should be written in on your calendar at home! Held monthly on the second Saturday of each month, September 8th will be the fourth Dania After Dark and it already has become immensely successful. It takes place outdoors between 1st Street and Dania Beach Blvd where the  ocean breeze and live music come together for an evening of relaxation and fun.

Each festival features live music from local bands and musicians with a variety of musical styles. The bands perform on stage in front of a grassy area with tables and chairs or plenty of room to lay out a blanket.

Merchant pop-up shops line the street, where guests can choose to shop with local makers, artisans, designers and brands. My booth highlights my one-of-a-kind jewelry made from re-purposed or re-cycled materials. You have to look twice to notice the bowling balls, billiard balls, CD’s, vinyl albums and other things I have cut and polished into jewelry design. Hope to see you at my booth! Other vendors display sculptures, handmade soaps and candles and a miriad of other crafts.

Inspired by Dania’s retro charm, vintage dealers will also be highlighted for guests who want to shop vintage clothing & accessories, retro bric-a-brac, home goods, jewelry and other treasures.

In addition to shopping and music, you can enjoy dining al fresco with food trucks, food stands, all the while sipping  your favorite cocktail at the bar.
