Unakite with Pink
$62.00
Unakite is a colorful stone that comes from North Carolina and is named after the Unaka Mountains. It is often a very rich pink and green color. It has the nickname “living in the now” by the metaphysical healers because they feel it has the magical ability to inspire a sense of urgency for those that are letting time slip by. The tiny pink beads are also stone and I was lucky to find them at the thrift store. The cording is re-purposed drapery tie back cording.
Earrings not included.
Description
This piece has a center cabachon cut from Unalite which is usually vivid pink and green. The cabachon (meaning a cut and polished stone shaped for use in jewelry) has been cut from a rock on a lapiary wet saw , which resembles a saw used to cut tile. It is then shaped and polished on a grinder which has 6 wheels, each with a different grid. The cording and the tassel are from a re-purposed drapery tie back.
Earrings not included.
Length: 16″ plus cabachon and tassel
