This piece is the second necklace I made from African Yellow Tourquoise; however this one has some raspberry color. The matching beads came from a variety of thrift stores and combined to match perfectly. It has been made to 26″ plus cabechon but could be converted to as few as 20 inches if preferred. Just email info@jewelrybybetsy.com when you place the order and I will shorten it before I ship it out.

The center of this piece is an African Yellow Tourquoise with a bonus of a beautiful raspberry section at the bottom. The stone is indigenous to Africa and it’s colors are the result of extreme heat and pressure over millions of years reacting to the minerals in that area. It is a serpentine stone with hematite webbing. The metaphysical healers feel that it is helpful for enhancing communication, intuition and creativity. It is considered a plus to have the addition of the raspberry color included which also increases the value of the stone. The cabachon was cut on a huge wet saw similar to the ones that cut tile. It is then shaped and polished on a grinder with 6 wheels of varying grid. Earrings included.
