Tibetan Barrel Bead

It’s all re-use materials except for the clasp and earring hardware…it started with the center bead that came from a flea market. The other beads and spacers came from various thrift store trips. This Tibetan barrel bead is very heavy but the other lightweight beads balance it out so it is comfortable to wear. I was able to get three of these great barrl beads so you will see them on future creations.

It was 3:55 and closing time was 4:00…just made it thru the door in time! Three times per year the neighborhood Senior Center has a fantastic flea market. The vendors are mostly retired folks that bring out the most interesting “stuff” from years passed. Most were in retail of various types so they bring merchandise that they boxed up when they sold their businesses . The center barrel bead was my favorite treasure from this quick shop. It looks Tibetan although I can’t be sure. It’s bright and colorful and earrings are included.
